The console supports 4K and 60 FPS, which really should be the minimum for any fighting game. The character models are generally great, and the combat system runs smoothly on most hardware, including the Xbox Series X. WWE 2K23 might not be as taxing as, say, an open-world project, but the game is still quite the looker. For instance, WWE 2K23's MyGM Mode is considerably better than its counterpart in the 2022 game, and the same can be said for MyRise. Its sequel wisely focuses on fine-tuning the basics and expanding on what came before, resulting in a similar but improved package. The fact a console exclusive cannot offer 60 FPS out of the gate is not a great advertisement for Microsoft's powerful console fortunately, there are plenty of games that not only reach that threshold but also offer 4K resolution.
